Try fixed samples without a key on the MCP setup page. Processing your own documents requires a key. New free subscriptions and anonymous trial keys are closed; existing keys retain their allowance.

These terms apply to the paid and free Factur-X API / MCP service operated by Antoine LE BORGNE, entrepreneur individuel, trading as Orvel (le.borgne.antoine.pro@gmail.com). Publisher identity: orvel.dev/legal.

The service is sold to professionals (B2B). By subscribing you declare that you act for purposes of your trade.

Service

We provide programmatic generation, validation, embedding and extraction of Factur-X / EN 16931 documents over REST (/v1) and MCP (/mcp), as described in the documentation. The engine does not store your files.

Plans, quotas and prices: Pricing. Amounts are EUR, VAT not applicable (art. 293 B of the French CGI, franchise in base) unless we notify you that the franchise has ended.

Account and key

Checkout is handled by Stripe. After payment you receive a license / API key. That key is personal to the subscription. Sharing it across unrelated companies is abuse and may lead to immediate termination, with a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

Completed document operations count toward the quota. A validation report counts even when it reports invoice errors; invalid-input and service-error responses do not consume an operation. Over quota, the API returns HTTP 402. Monthly allowances reset in UTC; fixed trial and evaluation allowances do not reset.

Verified-account trial

A verified Orvel account may claim 10 document operations for 14 days, with no card, subscription or automatic renewal. There is one grant per account and verified email, with an initial total cap of 100 grants. Expired or revoked grants do not release places or renew allowances. At most 30 processing attempts are permitted per grant, including invalid inputs. Registry lookups are excluded. Recovering your key preserves its existing allowance and expiry. Continuing after a trial requires a separate purchase.

Prepaid credits

EUR 10 buys 100 document-operation credits (EUR 0.10 each), shared across browser, REST and MCP. Credits do not expire and repeat purchases add to the same account balance. There is no subscription, automatic recharge or automatic overage charge. Registry checks are excluded. Monthly subscriptions are separate allowances; unused prepaid credits remain available when switching plans. Refunds remove the corresponding credits, rounded up to the next whole credit. Disputes freeze the purchased pack pending support review. Operations already used remain debited and may reduce the credits available after a later purchase. Legacy evaluation packs

New evaluation purchases are retired. Previously purchased packs keep their original terms:

The EUR 3 one-time purchase includes 25 successful document operations for 30 days after payment, shared across REST and MCP. It has no subscription or automatic renewal, and no automatic monthly refill. Unused operations expire. Each generation, embedding, validation or extraction is a separate operation. EU Verify register checks are excluded. Refunds and disputes revoke the pack. Contact support for receipts and billing assistance.

Customer obligations

You remain responsible for the content you submit and for using the output in line with tax and e-invoicing law. A generate call that returns a file has passed the rule set you requested; we do not warrant fitness for a particular PA, ERP or recipient.

Do not use the service to break the law, to load-test without notice, or to resell raw access without a vendor agreement.

Availability

The service runs on a single EU region (Railway, Amsterdam). No uptime SLA in v0.1. Scheduled or emergency maintenance can occur without prior notice. Credits are not issued for downtime under one business day. Availability and incident history are public at status page.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel, change plan or download invoices from the Stripe customer portal. Access continues until the end of the period already paid. Because the service is digital and supplied immediately, there is no 14-day withdrawal (consumer withdrawal does not apply to professional customers; art. L221-3 and L221-28 of the French consumer code).

Liability

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the last 12 months, except for death, bodily injury, or fraud. We are not liable for loss of data you did not store with us, or for a recipient rejecting a document.

Law

French law. Courts of Lorient / Rennes, unless a mandatory venue applies.
