Validate your own invoice

Get a clear result, the fields to fix and a downloadable report. Use a Factur-X PDF with embedded XML, or a CII/UBL XML file. Scanned PDFs and ordinary PDFs without invoice XML are not supported.

Check an invoice now, no account Generate invoices: 10 free operations

Validation needs no account or key. The trial below adds generation, embedding and extraction.

The trial needs a verified Orvel account, lasts 14 days and never renews. No card required. One trial per account/email, limited to 100 grants. Trial processing is capped at 30 attempts, including invalid inputs; company-register checks are excluded. Returning to your Orvel account recovers the same key and remaining allowance.

  1. Create an account with Google or email/password, or sign in to your existing Orvel account.
  2. Activate the free trial in your workspace. No payment form or automatic subscription.
  3. Upload your invoice and choose Validate. Download the report and use the fields to correct.

The Factur-X workspace uses your linked allowance without copying a key. Already have an account? Log in.

Advanced: validate with an existing API key

A completed validation report uses one operation, even when the invoice fails a rule. A subsequent validation uses another. No file is modified automatically.

Your key remains in this page’s memory; this form does not save it to browser storage. Your file is sent to Factur-X for processing in memory. Downloaded reports may contain invoice data: keep them private. Privacy.

Fix, check again, then automate

  1. Read the grouped issues and repair guidance. Examples illustrate the format; use the actual information from your invoice.
  2. Correct the source invoice in your software and upload the corrected file. The report lists both completed checks and coverage limits.
  3. Connect Claude, Cursor or VS Code with the same key to repeat this workflow. REST quickstart.
